The Ocean City beach and boardwalk will open this Saturday; visitors do not have to wear masks, but they want to follow Governor Hogan’s executive order, so people will continue to practice social distancing. Hotels will remain closed, unless it’s for essential personnel. Restaurants are also closed, unless it’s for carry-out orders. Mayor Rick Meehan had previously commented that he hoped the beach would be open in time for Memorial Day.
