Allegany County Administrator Brandon Butler submitted his resignation at last night’s county commissioners’ meeting, effective May 31st. He gave no reason for the resignation, nor what his future plans will be; Butler replaced David Eberly about two years ago and had served in the Department of Labor in Governor Larry Hogan’s administration. Butler had been a key figure in workforce development issues during his two years on the job.
