Mayor Ray Morriss is organizing a workgroup of professionals and practitioners to create a marketing program to effectively reopen the city of Cumberland for business. Reopening Cumberland will focus on maximizing and advertising new downtown activity as it is allowed in each phase of the Governor’s statewide reopening plan. And, to expand promotions geographically outward as more of the city’s event programming and business activity comes back online. The “game plan” for reopening Cumberland is available through social media and online through a variety of websites.
