HOGAN TO DISCUSS EASING RESTRICTIONS

Governor Larry Hogan will be discussing the first phase of easing coronavirus-related restrictions in a press conference this afternoon at 5 p.m. The first phase of reopening could include lifting the stay-at-home order and could allow certain small businesses to reopen and some personal services to resume. The state’s eight largest jurisdictions will likely coordinate on reopening. Baltimore City and county, along with Prince George’s, Montgomery, and Anne Arundel counties are the parts of the state hardest hit by COVID-19. As of yesterday, 34,061 people have tested positive for the coronavirus and 1,643 have died.
