An online hearing on the Dan’s Mountain Wind Farm project will be held Wednesday, beginning at 6:30 p.m. to accept public comment. The hearing will be held via Cisco Webex, an online video conferencing platform. Dan’s Mountain Wind Force LLC has been seeking, for years, to install wind turbine on the ridgeline of Dan’s Mountain, near the communities of Midland and the Hardwood subdivision, along with Vale Summit, Cresaptown, and Bel Air. Written comments are also being accepted until May 29th. The Maryland Public Service Commission is expected to make a final decision by next month.
