Construction on the downtown Cumberland Mall, originally scheduled for the fall, has been pushed back to early next year. The design process is delayed; drawings are about 70 per cent complete and are expected to be 90 per cent complete by the middle of next month. The more than $9 million project includes replacement of aging underground utility lines and adding one-way traffic on Baltimore Street through the pedestrian mall.
