Fifty-two-year-old Frank Nicol, Sr., faces charges of assault and disorderly conduct, among other counts following an incident just after 9 p.m. Wednesday in the area of Johnson and Greene Streets. Nicol had been fighting with another individual, but when police arrived, both began to walk away. Nicol allegedly shoved one of the officers and was immediately taken into custody. He was charged, received an initial appearance in District Court, and later released on his own recognizance.
