The Bedford County Fair has been cancelled this year, because of COVID-19 mandates. A Facebook post over the weekend announced the cancellation. Organizers have been in contact with 4-H educators, FFA Advisors and Livestock Superintendents about trying to host a virtual fair. While it is a “very difficult decision,” if the mandate were ignored, it could ruin Bedford County’s chances of hosting any future fairs and events.
