Last Friday’s shooting in Moorefield which claimed the life of a man and his pregnant girlfriend is being considered a double murder and suicide. The Hardy County Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded to a report of multiple shootings at a Trough Road residence; they discovered the bodies of Quentin Strawderman and Ashley Mc Donald. The shooting was witnessed by two others, who also resided at the home. The victims also included McDonald’s unborn child. McDonald is from Oldtown. A .45-calibre handgun was recovered at the scene.
