Cumberland resident Michael Gerrod Taylor was charged with first and second-degree assault, following an incident in the 300-block of Washington Street Sunday evening. Taylor is accused of throwing another person to the ground, breaking their arm. Taylor was arrested, received a District Court hearing and released on an unsecured $7500 bond.
