MAN ARRESTED AFTER POINTING HANDGUN

Tunnelton, West Virginia resident Robby Wayne Wiles was arrested after he allegedly pointed a handgun at another person during an argument on O’Brien Road in Swanton. Wiles punched the victim before threatening to, quote, “blow off his head.” He was arrested following a traffic stop in the Loch Lynn area. Wiles is charged with first-degree assault, seconddegree assault, using a firearm during a violent crime and other handgun charges. He was being held at the Garrett County Jail, awaiting a bond hearing.
