HOGAN RELAXES RESTRICTIONS ON DAY CARE, NURSING HOMES

State officials have announced an easing of restrictions on nursing home visits and childcare. Indoor visits are now going to be allowed at nursing homes not experiencing a coronavirus outbreak; however, no visits will be allowed at a facility if the local positivity rate is above 10 per cent. For childcare, all licensed facilities can return to the capacity for which they are licensed. Maryland is also providing $1,000 startup grants to new family home care providers.
