Congressman David Trone won re-election last night, even though he had fewer votes in Allegany County than his Republican challenger, Neil Parrott. Trone garnered 5,596 votes in Allegany County, while Parrott had 11,084. The remainder of the Sixth District put Trone over the top to win re-election. In West Virginia, both Senator Shelley Moore Capito and Governor Jim Justice won re-election.
