This year’s annual tree lighting ceremony will take place virtually. The city of Cumberland and the Downtown Development Commission will host the ceremony, set to get underway at 6 p.m. Mayor Ray Morriss and special guests will host the holiday tradition, which will be live streamed via Allegany Media. The livestream will begin at 5:45 p.m. and will be available on Allegany Media’s Facebook and YouTube pages. It will also be shared on the city of Cumberland’s Facebook page.
