First People’s has announced that its Mechanic Street drive-thru is now officially open for business. The new location hosts an interactive teller machine, and one express ATM lane. A First People’s teller can be reached by tapping the ITM screen, and waiting a few seconds for their face to appear on the screen. You can then talk to the teller, just as you would at a standard teller line. The ITM also acts as a regular ATM. An official grand opening event will be held in the spring.
