FROSH, MORRISSEY SUE FACEBOOK

The Attorneys General from Maryland and West Virginia, Brian Frosh and Patrick Morrissey, have joined with their counterparts in other states, in filing suit against Facebook, alleging the company illegally stifles competition to protect its monopoly power. Over the last decade, according to the lawsuit, the social networking giant illegally acquired potential competitors in a predatory manner and cut services to smaller apps, depriving users of the benefits of competition and reducing privacy protections and services.
