A former resident of Fort Ashby was one of four people who were fatally shot in southern West Virginia this past weekend. Daniel Dale Long was also a Frankfort High School graduate. Also found in the Kanawha County home were 39-year-old Risa Mae Saunders, 12-year-old Gage Ripley and three-year-old Jameson Long. All of the victims were related; a 16-year-old has been charged in the deaths. His name and other identifying information is being withheld due to his age.
