Devin Terrell Joyner of Cumberland is being held without bond, following an alleged assault incident in the 300-block of Frederick Street Monday. Two people had been in an altercation over money, and Joyner allegedly tried to cut the victim with a knife. Joyner fled the scene but a warrant was issued for his arrest. He received a District Court hearing on charges of first and second-degree assault, along with using a dangerous weapon with intent to injure.
