Following his indictment by a federal grand jury, Moorefield resident Kenneth Allan Evans was arrested on drug charges. He is one of six accused of working together to distribute crystal meth in Hardy County and elsewhere between August of 2018 and April of last year. Also charged with conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine were Jennifer Ann Howell of Moorefield; Kelly Marie Tabler of Keyser; Richard Allen Howell of Moorefield; and, Silver Creek, Georgia resident Kaleb Joseph Beals.
