MSP HELICOPTER PERFORMS AIRLIFT IN MORGAN COUNTY

The Maryland State Police helicopter helped rescue a person who was injured by a falling tree in Morgan County, West Virginia on Monday. Because of multiple injuries, steep terrain and an extended extrication time by ground, Trooper Five was requested. Once on board, the victim was flown to UPMC-Western Maryland Medical Center for treatment. The helicopter was dispatched around 3:30 p.m. Monday afternoon.
