HOGAN ANNOUNCES PLANS FOR MASS VACCINATIONS

Once enough COVID-19 vaccines are available, the state will open mass vaccination sites. Initially, the Maryland National Guard will be set up at the Baltimore Convention Center, Six Flags America, and a third at M & T Bank Stadium. Plans are also underway for additional sites on the Eastern Shore and in Western and Southern Maryland. The mass vaccination sites will be open to all Maryland residents. In addition to previously announced partnerships with Giant, Martin’s and Walmart for distribution of the vaccine, 16 Safeway and Rite Aid locations will begin offering the coronavirus vaccine next week.
