FROSTBURG STATE REPORTS SEVEN NEW COVID-19 CASES

Frostburg State University has reported seven new COVID-19 cases between January 17th and 24th, before the start of the new semester; this was out of 1,964 tests conducted, resulting in a positivity rate of .36 per cent. Rapid antigen tests are now being used at the university, which produces results in minutes rather than days. Students and employees on campus will now be tested twice a week, every other week. Beginning Monday, the standard twice per week testing protocol will occur.
