KEYSER RESCINDS MOTION TO APPOINT MEMBER

The Keyser City Council will continue to have an open seat, as members voted this week to rescind a motion that would have added Curtis Perry to their ranks. The seat has been vacant since Councilman William Zacot resigned in September. Councilman Jim Hannas, who originally voted for Perry’s appointment, announced his intent to rescind his support, because Perry had filed an ethics complaint against other council members; because of that, he was concerned about Perry’s ability to work productively with other council members. The council will meet again on February 10th.
