MARYLAND SENATE BACK “AT FULL STRENGTH” FOLLOWING COVID SCARE

Maryland Senate President Bill Ferguson says his chamber “dodged a bullet” after a coronavirus scare.  Ferguson announced on Tuesday several positive COVID-19 tests among some senators and staffers.  They were from rapid tests, but Ferguson says more reliable PCR test results have come back negative.  He says the initial tests turned out to be false positives and the state Senate is back at full strength.
