Allegany County Public Schools’ virtual parent conferences, originally scheduled for March 10th and 11th have been cancelled as a result of the beginning transitions to the concurrent/hybrid learning schedules. Students in grades Pre-K, kindergarten, and Grade 1, those students failing or failing to engage in virtual learning and identified students with special needs will return to school buildings on March 1st, followed by students in Grades 2-5, 6, 9, and 12 on March 8th, and finally students in Grades 7, 8, 10, 11 on March 15th. Parents are still encouraged to contact their child’s teacher or teachers during regular afternoon office hours and/or student support time to review their child’s academic and behavioral progress.  A parent may also request a progress report from their child’s school counselor.
