MARYLAND RESIDENTS REPORT DIFFICULTY IN REPORTING FRAUD

Some Marylanders say they’re having a hard time reporting unemployment fraud.  Victims of fraud say they have frozen their credit cards and put their names on identity theft lists, but otherwise can’t get help reporting the fraud.  The Department of Labor says around 65-percent of claims filed since the beginning of the year have been flagged as potentially fraudulent.  They say anyone who thinks they’ve been a victim of fraud can report it on M-D-unemployment-dot-com.
