Governor Larry Hogan is introducing the new Vaccine Equity Task Force. The group will use Census and CDC data to identify at-risk populations for the COVID vaccine. National Guard Brigadier General Janeen Birkhead will lead the task force in an effort to address disparities in access to the vaccine, including establishing a new community-focused vaccination site at the First Baptist Church in Glenarden. They plan to administer up to 900 doses a day.
