The Allegany County Health Department reported one additional COVID-19 death and seven new cases last week. It has also been reported that 12,285 residents have received at least their first dose of the vaccine, with 8,370 of those, now fully vaccinated. The county is reporting just over 4 cases per 100,000, while the state rate is 13.7. The local positivity rate is 1.71 per cent, while Maryland’s rate is 3.61 per cent.
