The Maryland Department of Health is reporting an additional 658 COVID-19 cases in the state as of yesterday. This brings the state’s total of cases to more than 394-thousand-700 since the pandemic started over a year ago. Twenty-three more people have died due to the virus, pushing the state’s death toll to more than 78 hundred. The state positivity rate saw a slight increase to three-point-nine six percent.
