Forty-seven-year-old Shawntay Gill of Frederick and Cumberland resident Kate Lynn Guthrie were arrested on drug charges, after a search warrant was executed in the South George Street area of Cumberland on Monday. The warrant was the result of an investigation by the Allegany County Narcotics Task Force into the distribution and sales of crack cocaine and fentanyl in the Allegany County area. Investigators found large amounts of crack cocaine, fentanyl, CDS packaging materials and a large amount of cash. The approximate street value of the crack cocaine was $30,000. Both were charged, made an appearance in District Court and were held without bail.
