The city of Cumberland, in partnership with the Cumberland Economic Development Corporation, will hold a special livestream event on Tuesday at 10 a.m., during which the Baltimore Street Redevelopment Project will be discussed, and the final artist renderings will be shared with the public. Mayor Ray Morriss and the project’s designer, William Cochran, will provide updates on the project’s status, funding and design elements and will include what the public can expect during pre and post-construction phases, as well as during the redevelopment. The public is invited to join this informative opportunity to learn more about our City’s future. The virtual event will stream live on the project’s new website,
https://historiccumberlandcitycenter.com/, on Facebook, https://www.facebook.com/cityofcumberlandmd and on YouTube, https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCgOGhSfCjpzAlBDo9eBxEww. Future updates surrounding the project, news and events, timelines and construction progress will be available on the project website, https://historiccumberlandcitycenter.com/, which is expected to be fully launched by early summer.
