HOGAN ANNOUNCES PHASE TWO OF VACCINE PLAN

As of today, every Maryland resident knows when he or she can begin the process of receiving the COVID-19 vaccine. Governor Larry Hogan pointed out, during a press conference yesterday afternoon, that more than 25 per cent of all Maryland residents have now received the vaccine, at a pace of more than 100,000 shots per day. He also announced a sixth vaccination site will be announced in Western Maryland next week. Maryland will enter the final phase of the vaccination program, at which time anyone over the age of 16 will be eligible. Governor Hogan also pointed out that, at this point, demand is exceeding the supply of the vaccine. A pilot program is also being introduced, where the shots will be administered by approximately three dozen  primary care physicians across the state.
