BILL PROTECTS WORKERS WHO REFUSE COVID VACCINE

A new bill in the state General Assembly would outlaw companies from firing employees who don’t get a COVID-19 vaccine.  The bill, called the Maryland Employee Protection Plan for Vaccine Refusal, would also block workers from suing employers if they refuse a vaccine then contract the virus.  Prince George’s County Delegate Nick Charles is sponsoring the legislation that was first read on February 8th.
