MARYLAND RECORDS 1361 NEW COVID CASES

Maryland has recorded 682 new cases of COVID-19 bringing the number of confirmed cases to more than 405-thousand since the start of the pandemic. There have been 15 additional fatalities related to the virus, for a death toll of nearly 8-thousand-50. The Maryland Department of Health says there are 933 patients in the hospital and 232 are in intensive care. The seven-day positivity rate is 4-point-6-4-percent.  The state has administered more than 2-point-4 million doses of the coronavirus vaccine and close to 855-thousand people have been fully vaccinated.
