MARYLAND EXTENDS FORECLOSURE BAN

Maryland’s ban of foreclosures is being extended through May 3rd.  The moratorium was originally established by Governor Larry Hogan nearly a year ago and was set to expire tomorrow.  The moratorium prevents lenders from issuing “notice of intent to foreclose” letters to homeowners.  Maryland Labor Secretary Tiffany Robinson reminds homeowners struggling to pay their bills to contact their lenders to learn about resources available to help them.
