Police are investigating a domestic murder-suicide found Sunday night in Maryland. Columbia Detectives say they believe 31-year-old Kyle Hartlieb shot his wife Alleen before turning the gun on himself. Police went to the home near the intersection of Oak Bush Terrace and Each Leaf Circle for a welfare check and forced their way into the home when they could not make contact with the couple. The couple was last seen alive Saturday night and a neighbor told police she heard gunshots around 3 a.m. Sunday. The motive for the shooting is unclear.
