POLICE IDENTIFY FREDERICK SHOOTER

Police are identifying the suspect that shot two people in Frederick, Maryland yesterday morning.  Frederick Police Chief Jason Lando says 38-year-old Fantahun Girma Woldesenbet had the rank of E-4 in the Navy.  He said the shooting at Riverside Tech Park took place at a military installation at the park.  Brigadier General Michael Talley says the alleged shooter made it about a half mile onto Fort Detrick before he was stopped.  He brandished a weapon before he was shot.  Talley says first aid was rendered for about 20 minutes before he was pronounced dead.  One of the two victims is still in critical condition, but Lando says the second victim is being treated and will likely be released from the hospital today.
