MOSBY SAYS STATE CLEARS HER OF WRONGDOING

Baltimore City State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby says the State Ethics Commission cleared her of any wrongdoing. Her office says the commission found she over-reported her trips and wasn’t required to disclose them at all. This comes after an Inspector General’s report accused her of failing to disclose all of her out-of-town trips to the Board of Estimates. The commission asked her to amend her ethics forms and return certain gifts she received on trips that were meant to be auctioned off. Mosby brushed off the investigation as a politically-motivated attempt to bring her down.
