Technology is being developed in Maryland that could tell how severe COVID symptoms will be. The developer Robert Figliozzi is a lab coordinator at the University of Maryland- Eastern Shore and says his test has a 99-percent success rate. The tech can also identify asymptomatic patients providing relief for hospitals. The test is currently seeking emergency approval from the FDA.
