FEDERAL FUNDS WILL HELP WITH EQUITABLE VAX DISTRIBUTION

Maryland’s congressional delegation secures more than 54-million dollars in federal funding to expand equitable distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine.  The money from the American Rescue Plan will bolster public health infrastructure and expand vaccination efforts for underserved and hard to reach communities in the state.  Lawmakers say the health and safety of Marylanders is their top priority, and the funding will help to ensure that every community receives the vaccine.
