FREDERICK COUNTY KEEPS STATE POLICE BUSY

One Maryland county has kept State Police very busy during the first quarter.  Maryland State Police say that they arrested 111 adults and one juvenile in Frederick County for drug-related offenses.  Authorities say this happened between New Year’s Day and April 1st, and the arrests came from traffic stops and other calls for service.  Over the span, troopers seized 475 grams of heroin, over 200 grams of cocaine, more than eight kilograms of marijuana and other related drugs.  Troopers say they will remain steady with their drug enforcement across the state.
