Emergent Biosolutions is pausing production of a COVID-19 vaccine. The Baltimore plant stopped the making the Johnson and Johnson vaccine last Friday after a request by the FDA. The FDA also paused the administration of the Johnson and Johnson vaccine due to six different cases of blood clots as a side effect. The vaccines from Emergent Biosolutions had not been distributed.
