MARYLAND RECORDS 925 NEW COVID-19 CASES

Maryland has recorded 925 new cases of COVID-19 bringing the number of confirmed cases to more than 437-thousand since the start of the pandemic. There have been 19 additional fatalities related to the virus, for a death toll of 8-thousand-406. The Maryland Department of Health says there are nearly 13-hundred patients in the hospital and 310 are in intensive care. The seven-day positivity rate is 5-point-4-percent.  The state has administered more than 3-point-9 million doses of the coronavirus vaccine and about 1-point-6-million residents are fully vaccinated.
