Gas prices are rising in Maryland. According to Triple-A, the statewide average for a gallon of regular is $2.82. That’s four-cents more than a week ago, three-cents higher than last month and 94-cents more than this time last year. Averages in Maryland range from a low of $2.78 in Frederick to a high of $2.90 in the DC suburbs. The current national average is also $2.90.
