HERO WANTS TO REMAIN ANONYMOUS

The good Samaritan who jumped into the water to save a toddler in Ocean City wants to remain anonymous.  Police say the “heroic witness” jumped off the Route 90 bridge into the Assawoman Bay on Sunday to rescue the two-year-old girl, who was then flown by medevac helicopter to Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore.  The crash involved five vehicles and sent eight people to the hospital, including the toddler who was ejected from a pickup truck with her car seat sent flying into the bay below.  Everyone who was hurt in the crash is now out of the hospital, except for the child who remains in stable condition.
