MARYLAND OFFERS INCENTIVE TO STATE EMPLOYEES WHO GET VACCINATED

Governor Larry Hogan is announcing a financial incentive for state employees to get their COVID-19 vaccinations.  Hogan says state employees will be offered 100 dollars to get the shot.  To get the bonus, workers must provide their HR office with proof of vaccination and agree to get all subsequent CDC-recommended booster shots within 18 months of being fully immunized.  Employees who have already been vaccinated can also get the extra money.  Hogan says incentives like this can reinforce how important it is to get vaccinated.
