Cumberland resident William Lee Miller is being held without bond, after being accused of assault. A victim told police they had been struck several times in the face, legs and arms multiple times. He is also accused of holding a knife to the victim’s throat during one of the assaults. Miller was arrested and taken to Allegany County District Court for an initial appearance. He was then transported to the Allegany County Detention Center.
