Lexington Park, Maryland resident Anthony Dwayne Dyson, Jr., was ordered held on $2,000 bond, as the result of an incident in the 100-block of Greene Street yesterday. Dyson had been involved in an accident, and Dyson was determined to be at fault. He became argumentative with the officer and struck the officer in the face several times; he was arrested, but continued to resist and assault the officer. Additionally, he was suspected of operating the motor vehicle, while under the influence of alcohol. Dyson had also been driving while uninsured and had an active arrest warrant for knowingly operating an uninsured motor vehicle. He received a District Court hearing, before being taken to the Allegany County Detention Center.
