Governor Larry Hogan issues pardons for victims of lynchings in Maryland. The Governor issued the 34 pardons in a ceremony Saturday in Towson. The lynchings took place between 1854 and 1933. The Governor said he hopes the pardons will help “to right these horrific wrongs.”
