The wife of former Speaker of the Maryland House, Cas Taylor passed away Friday at UPMC Mercy Hospital. Polly Taylor had been involved in an auto accident on Saturday, May 1st, and was transferred to Pittsburgh. She was 86. Friends are being received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home on Virginia Avenue this Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Saturday at noon at Saints Peter and Paul Shrine; burial will take place in Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery.
